Training Analytics

The overall objective of VDSS is to characterize driver performance and supply a meaningful report to drivers and trainers. To achieve this meaningful report, a scoring system is currently in development that calculates a score based upon the critical points of performance for effective and efficient off-road driving. The following table and explanation provide detailed information about the initial scoring system that will be developed. As more data is collected, the team developing VDSS will begin the implementation of various machine learning algorithms to detect driver errors, vehicle performance issues, and other insights.
